The grand old man of London's exclusive food emporiums, Fortnum & Mason, as been around for more than three centuries, and continues to pull in a curious mix of the great and the good, enquiring tourists fascinated by all things English, and shoppers with appetites.

Aside from foodie retail therapy, the store has its own eating-in options, with pride of place going to the Fountain restaurant on the ground floor (access is through the Food Hall or from Jermyn Street).
