French Table Review

Eric and Sarah Guignard's delightful (and aptly named) neighbourhood restaurant, the French Table in Surbiton has all the cosiness and congeniality of a French family dining room. The premises is a stylish, glass-fronted shop conversion with a light, welcoming feel, pastel colour schemes and flag floors. Sarah is an engagingly chatty hostess out front, and Eric mans the stoves.

The cooking here is modern, lively and surprisingly sophisticated, but it never goes over-the-top.
