Like its siblings in other town and cities, the Stratford branch of Georgetown is decked out in the style of a colonial ballroom with wicker chairs, plants and music from a live pianist most evenings. The restaurant group takes its name from the East India Company's trading port in Malaysia, and the menu reflects the diversity of the native cuisine and its cultural influences.
The kitchen delivers an enticing hotch-potch of indigenous Malaysian specialities, fleshed out with a few Mandarin Chinese, Tamil Indian ideas and modern British dishes for good measure.
