Dating from 1667 or thereabouts, this well-cared-for inn is now a popular pit-stop for tourists and holidaymakers, within easy reach of the Peddar's Way, West Norfolk's lavender fields and the beaches of Hunstanton. A pair of ploughshares hang above the front door and the garden boasts a handsome conker tree.
Inside, there are low black beams and gin-trap light fittings in the bar, while the recently opened conservatory dining area has a more modern look thanks to soft colour schemes and gentle light from church candles.
