From the same stable as the Gingerman Restaurant and the Ginger Pig pub in Brighton, The Ginger Fox at Albourne is a cracking country hostelry that ticks all the boxes - whether you are looking for scenery, a kid-friendly attitude, fine local ales and wines or exemplary modern food.
The thatched roof (compete with a fox effigy) augurs well, and the interior is pleasingly tricked out with colourful furnishings, wood and stone floors and country trappings.
