Formerly known as Golborne House, this likeable gastro pub is - in the owners' words - 'an oasis of calm in an otherwise unpromising area'. It's spread over two levels, with a function room upstairs and an open-plan area on the ground floor. An eclectic mix of second-hand chairs, '60s leather sofas and Venetian mirrors from the 1920s sits alongside contemporary urban photographs of the neighbourhood.
