Golden Lion Review

Traditional virtues and Yorkshire hospitality are much in evidence at the Golden Lion - a pleasantly welcoming pub/restaurant-with-rooms in a village just inside the North York Moors National Park. The place attracts its share of hikers tackling the Lyke Wake Walk, as well as tourists, families, farmers and out-of-towners.

The interior is essentially one open-plan beamed room with whitewashed walls, a raised open fire, dark wood pews and bare tables.
