Adam Fellows gave up the sumptuous elegance of Charlton House Hotel in Shepton Mallet for this fascinating new venture. The premises used to be Ritcher's restaurant, but the interior has been completely transformed with brushed steel, slate and pale green walls; there's also an attractive courtyard at the back.

By day, Goodfellows functions as a casual set up, combining the virtues of a café, deli and fishmongers.
