Goodman Review
Named in honour of jazz legend Benny Goodman, this restaurant brings all the glamorous pizzazz of a New York steakhouse to Mayfair. The chain is actually Russian-based, with nine outlets in Moscow, but this is its first run in the UK and it certainly doesn't deal in formulaic food - despite the rather uniform brown interiors.
Steaks are out of the top drawer, with meat coming from Australia (for those who like it lean), the US and Scotland (for those who prefer their Angus with some marbled fat).
