Cheekily nicknamed 'the G-Spot', this unusual restaurant is hidden away discreetly on the ground floor of the Farnley Tower Hotel - a grandiose Victorian Gothic building a short drive from Durham city centre. It's a small, modern dining room dominated by a spherical glass chandelier, and with a few daubs of paint here and there.
The restaurant hit the headlines when it fronted by self-styled 'Chemical Chef' Sean Wilkinson - a disciple of the El Bulli/Fat Duck school of experimental molecular gastronomy.
