After his barnstorming success with re-invented British food and family-friendly Italian pizzerias, Lancashire top dog Paul Heathcote has looked to Spain for this new venture right in the heart of Manchester's Piccadilly Plaza. Set in a swish, glass-sided space at the bottom of City Tower (the tallest building in town), it's a mix of smart-casual fine-dining restaurant and all-day tapas bar.
Inside, it looks reassuringly ethnic, from the piles of paella pans in the open-to-view kitchen to the Spanish hams ready for carving on the bar; all around are sleek surfaces, polished wood and chic contemporary colours.
