Niki and Kate Robinson has scored quite a hit with their casual, contemporary, Lymington venue, which offers exactly what the name, Graze Bar & Kitchen, suggests – a big open space with a long bar, high stools, bare wooden floors and trendy lighting, plus the bonus of an outdoor area with groovy sail-styled awnings and heaters.
Fish is a strong suit on the menu, which divides up into cold and hot dishes: the choice on offer could range from watermelon, celery and Feta cheese salad with chilli dressing and toasted fennel seeds or tian of crab and mango with gazpacho sauce to seared scallops with red pepper coulis and marinated belly pork on tomato, new potato and rocket salad.
In addition there are 'sharing platters' for two (anything from sushi and sashimi to mixed charcuterie) plus light snacks such as Purbeck cured ham with country bread and relish.
