The Oak Room restaurant is set in the luxurious Great Fosters hotel, a magnificent Grade One listed building in Egham, Surrey. Located in the heart of Windsor Forest, Great Fosters was built as a royal hunting lodge in 1550 and is etched with history. The stately house is surrounded on three sides by a moat and it nestles amid fifty acres of stunning landscaped grounds and parkland; the interior is equally stunning with its exquisite original tapestries, carved panelling and mullioned windows.
Guests can relax with pre-dinner drinks in the cocktail bar overlooking the Japanese bridge or sit out on the terrace (weather permitting) before proceeding to the intimate Oak Room restaurant, where vaulted oak-beams sit happily with more contemporary design features.
