Flagship of Alastair Hook's ground-breaking Meantime Brewery, the Greenwich Union serves 'lots of lovely beer' in an unstuffy setting of flagstone floors, wood panelling and arty design work. Hook learned his skills in Munich and he offers up to eight unpasteurised draught brews (ranging from Pilsner and Kelles to Raspberry) plus a line-up of bottled beers from around the globe.
On the food front, expect a regularly changing menu of eclectic gastropub dishes based on locally sourced ingredients - including fish from Billingsgate.
