Grill Room at The Dome Review

Originally the site of Edinburgh's old Physician's Hall, designed and built by James Craig in 1775, the Dome later became home to the Commercial Bank of Scotland, before its present incarnation as social playground complete with a cocktail bar, garden café, conference suites and facilities for weddings. It is a riot of grandiose architectural gestures – fluted columns, gilded staircases, marble mosaic floors, heavy bronze doors and more.
