The gourmandising name actually refers to a trout-fishing fly, which is apt since this family-run restaurant-with-rooms stands in 40 acres of lush wild meadows, complete with four, trout-filled 'lochans'. It's a blissfully peaceful location surrounded by the Lomond and Ochil Hills, yet only a couple of minutes' drive from J6 of the M90.
Meals are served in a spacious conservatory overlooking the grounds, and the kitchen takes full account of local produce.
