Gurnard’s Head Hotel Review

The great rocky outcrop of Gurnard's Head, with its ancient hill fort and abandoned tin mines, is visible below this imposing roadside inn and gives the place its odd name. Things are looking up here, thanks to the revitalising efforts of new owners Charles and Edmund Inkin (the men behind the award-winning Felin Fach Griffin near Brecon).

Given the setting, it's no surprise that seafood has a big presence on the menu, although the kitchen invests the food with some modern European touches.
