A discreet little dining room on the first floor above Villeneuve wine merchants in the centre of Peebles, the Halycon Restaurant is running along nicely - thanks to chef/proprietor Shona Thomson (ex Café Hub), who has been at in charge of proceedings since the end of 2007. Halcyon lives and breathes intimacy, with clean lines, subtle decor and just 26 covers.
