It may be only two miles from Leeds city centre, but this expansive Victorian mansion (named after a local stonemason) feels unmistakably like a house in the country – thanks to its location in a leafy conservation area, a ball's throw from Headingley Cricket Ground.

After 10 years at the helm, chef Jon Vennell moved on to open his own place in what was The Floodlite, Masham, North Yorkshire.
