Harry Hughes' eponymous restaurant-with-rooms stands right in the heart of Aberystwyth and its two dining areas are done out in rustic French style with yellow walls, stripped floors and robust wooden furniture.
There's not much Gallic about the food, however. The kitchen makes good use of local produce for a menu that globetrots all the way from marinated chicken breast with fettuccini and grilled vegetables to Chinese-style belly pork with sweet-and-sour sauce via Welsh steaks and pan-fried red bream with parsley risotto and citrus butter.
