Behind its dark glass frontage, Ho Wong puts on a classy, sophisticated show with its rich, dark décor, plush carpets, beautiful pieces of carved furniture and vases of lilies and orchids. The mood is affable, service is sharp and speedy.
The menu cuts a swathe through the mainstream Chinese repertoire, neatly avoiding takeaway clichés as well as the more outlandish and esoteric creations involving duck's feet, intestines and the like.
