A quintessential Cambridgeshire hostelry down a narrow country lane is the setting for Stephen Bull's latest foray into the world of gastro pubs. He has installed the chef/front-of-house team that scored a hit at his previous venture, the Lough Pool Inn at Sellack, and the early signs are that he is onto another winner.
The Hole in the Wall still functions emphatically as a local boozer, with real ales (including locally brewed Elgoods) on handpump and a bar lunch menu that isn't embarrassed to offer a decent ploughman's or bangers and mash.
