Put yourself in the hands of chef/proprietor Mr Peng when you visit Hunan. There are no printed menus in this unassuming Pimlico Chinese restaurant: you simply discuss any preferences, dislikes or aversions and then leave the kitchen to do the rest.
The result is a procession of tasting dishes – perhaps as many as 20 – brought out at such an orderly pace than feasts can last up to two hours.
