The team behind the award-winning World Service recently gave the Nottingham restaurant scene an extra hit with their casual new venture in the Lace Market. Ibérico World Tapas is housed in the unlikely setting of the Grade II-listed Shire Hall, below what was once the old county jail - and it's full of surprises.

The old vaulted ceilings and flagstone floors have been given the 'modern rustic' treatment, stools are clustered around the walnut bar, while Moorish tiles and mirror-backed frescoes add a touch of exoticism.
