The name Incognico is a punning reference to the legendary Nico Ladenis, who was originally involved in this Covent Garden restaurant and although he is long gone, Incognico lives on and its location deep in theatreland close to Cambridge Circus - guarantees full houses before and after the show.
The cooking is best described as European brasserie with a few modish overtones, all served in a sedate businesslike setting of brown colours, polished wood floors, mirrors and high ceilings inlaid with tiles.
