Adem and Pirlanta Oner have spent years collecting and accumulating Turkish artefacts for their enchanting little restaurant Iznik on Highbury Park, and the dining room is crammed with antiquities, hanging lamps, decorative tiles and carved wooden arches. Candles flicker on the tables in the evening and Turkish music plays hypnotically in the background.
Their menus haven't changed a great deal over the years, but you can expect a feast of great-value meze (mashed aubergines with yoghurt and garlic, diced liver fried with paprika, filo pastries filled with Feta cheese, for example).
