Jem and I Review

'Jem' is chef Jem O'Sullivan, a local boy made good who is well known to Mancunians from his time at The Lincoln in Lincoln Square. With his wife (the 'I' of the title) he is now to be found in a converted bank tucked away off Didsbury's main drag. The original dark wood floors remain, although the premises have been brightened up with pictures festooned on the maroon and cream walls.

It is a relaxed, homely, informal kind of place serving unpretentious bistro-style food based on decent ingredients, including daily deliveries of fish from the market.
