New landlords Chris Lillitou and Amanda Baker have infused new life into the wisteria clad Victorian pub, The Jolly Cricketers at Seer Green, situated opposite the Holy Trinity Church, just outside Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. The splendid interior is very welcoming with its assortment of wooden tables, old church style chairs, cushioned window seats and shabby chic curtains, with cricket paraphernalia adorning the walls.
The kitchen is keen to use seasonal locally sourced ingredients, some from their own herb patch, to create modern British cuisine together with classic pub food.
