Judges Country House Hotel, The Conservatory Restaurant Review
Built in 1881 for a famous Hartlepool engineering family, Kirklevington Hall stands right on the fringes of the North Yorkshire Moors and is surrounded by graceful sweeping lawns, a tiny river and a Victorian walled garden. It acquired its current name during the 1970s, when it was used as a luxurious bolthole by travelling circuit court judges.
Enchanting views, understated elegance and highly polished service are features of the airy conservatory restaurant, with its classically inclined décor and cosseted atmosphere.
