Kettner's Review

This doyen of Soho destinations has come a very long way since it was opened in 1867 by Auguste Kettner, chef to Napoleon III. Famous as a hangout for the rich and famous as well as its theatreland connections, it recently underwent a radical makeover which has given it a new lease of life.

Gone are the pizzas that were once Kettner's trademark; instead, the kitchen now offers a French-biased Euro-menu of brasserie classics taking in the likes of crab bisque, tuna niçoise and confit duck with sarladaise potatoes.
