Khoai Café Review

Now established as a firm favourite for authentic Vietnamese flavours in Crouch End, this cheap-and-cheerful eatery keeps decorative trimmings to a minimum (think green paintwork, plastic plants, pine benches and a large mirror).

The emphasis is firmly on the food, which is great value, fresh and moreish. Outstanding soups (including Vietnam's signature pho) are generous and fragrant, and starters bring on excellent light spring rolls and shredded green mango with sweet-and-sour dressing.
