King's Wark Review
One of Edinburgh's oldest and most atmospheric pubs, the King's Wark was a famous old smuggler's haunt, served as a plague hospital and - in earlier times - was even the private armoury belonging to James I for a while.
Everything is above board these days, although the interior still oozes history with its wood-panelled walls and sturdy furniture.
