Mother and son Elizabeth and Edward Nicholls have made a name for themselves in the charming old country pub a few miles off the A505 near Royston. There's a delightful garden outside, and the interior is an Aladdin's cave of ploughshares, cow bells, milk churns, harnesses and other bucolic memorabilia.
