Once a street-corner boozer, the King William has been miraculously transformed in true gastro pub style by Charlie and Amanda Digney. Inside, it's a funky cosmopolitan mish-mash of village hall tables and chairs, 'de rigueur' bare floorboards and gold flock velvet curtains; soul music and reggae plays in the background and a trendy crowd congregates.
Free-range, organic and locally reared meat is one of the mainstays of the menu, along with fish from Cornwall and vegetables courtesy of Bath's market gardens.
