Hammersmith is now home to the UK's largest Polish community, and The Knaypa Restaurant provides a taste of home for the new 'locals'. The ground floor dining room has a stylish contemporary look with opaque coloured mirrors, red leather seating and pale wood floors setting the mood.
By contrast, the basement is done out in the style of a rustic Silesian tavern (Knaypa means 'pub' in Polish), with dark wooden furniture and atmospheric lighting.
