Knock Castle Hotel Review

After a spell as the Roundelwood Spa, this Victorian Gothic edifice (built for a Scottish shipping magnate) has reverted to its original name thanks to the arrival of chef/proprietor Jason Henderson and his team. His plans for the place include an ambitious rooftop dining room, but developments have already made a big difference to the hotel.

Much of its original grandeur has been retained, especially in the baronial restaurant with its tartan fabrics, red walls and wooden ceiling.
