Kosmos brings echoes of the sunny Hellenic countryside and seascapes to the outer suburbs of Manchester, with its bright decor and hotpotch of Greek memorabilia. Lulla Astin has been the life and soul of the place for 30 years, and she's lost none of her enthusiasm or spirit; she even takes time to promote her native cuisine on TV.

Her lengthy menu ploughs its way through the traditional repertoire, from three-stage meze banquets to a trolley loaded with sticky sweets and pastries.
