La Faisanderie Review
As you might guess from the name, seasonal Scottish game with a pronounced French accent is one of the attractions at this two-tiered, bistro-style restaurant in the town square. It's an Anglo-French partnership in more ways than one, with English-born Mandy Bestwick running the show out front and Eric Obry (the Gallic half of the team) holding sway in the kitchen.
The menu follows suit, providing a broad mix of dishes including not only moorland game but also seafood from the waters of nearby Moray Firth.
