Set in a charismatic basement at the foot of Hope Street, La Lanterna is one of Glasgow's oldest family run Italian restaurants and, 40 years since it first opened its doors, it is still in the hands of the original owners. Conveniently situated opposite Glasgow's central station, it is the perfect spot for a relaxing lunch or an intimate dinner.
Pasta remains the speciality of La Lanterna, with head chef Luca Conreno making all the restaurant's pasta fresh each morning.
