A long-running local favourite, hidden away down a leafy side street close to Blackheath station, Laicram Thai Restaurant is valued for its cosy atmosphere and authentic Thai food. It's personally run by Mr and Mrs Dhirabutra (she does the cooking) and the whole place has a really authentic feel - thanks to carved wooden panels, decorative trinkets and pictures of the Thai royal family on the walls.

The menu also rings true with its line up of zingy soups, salads, curries, stir fries and noodles.
