Lake Country House Review

Named after the three-acre lake in the grounds, this exquisitely furnished Welsh country house is something of an 'architectural bagatelle', according to its owners. Begun in 1840, it was remodelled in 1900 with mock-Tudor half-timbering, colonial-style verandas and French windows.

The dining room is an embarrassment of fabrics, sofas, rugs, carpets and miles of curtains.
