Launceston Place Review

Launceston Place celebrates its twenty-fifth birthday during 2011 and it continues to provide a sedate alternative to the energy and bustle of capital and following a recent renovation, this gentrified restaurant in a leafy Kensington backwater has emerged with a stylish contemporary look.

There's a new chef at the helm, too: Tristan Welch (ex-Pétrus) is now manning the stoves and he is tapping into the seasonal British larder for many ideas and ingredients on his seasonal menus.
