A famous sixteenth-century thatched listed building is now home to Richard Hughes' restaurant The Lavender House, just 10 minutes drive from Norwich. As chef/proprietor he has been described by some of his customers as 'a legend in his own lunchtime'. He is an industrious soul, beavering away at the stoves and always creating new ideas and surprises.
