A delightful, personally run restaurant in a whitewashed, wisteria-clothed eighteenth-century cottage, Le Chanterelle is very much a family affair with Ryan Lamb in the kitchen and his mum often on hand to greet diners.
Inside, the building shows its English antiquity with beams and an inglenook, although the food comes with a French accent.
