The name alone may momentarily transport you to the glamorous seaside pleasures of Cannes, in fact everything about this South Kensington old-stager is unmistakably Gallic. Over the years, Le Suquet has played to a nautical tune with its sea pictures and models of sailing boats; a ship's wheel is suspended from the ceiling and wooden buckets are used as wine coolers.
As you might expect, seafood is the name of the game, with magnificent 'plateaux de fruits de mer' as the star attraction.
