Situated close to the family seat at Wyken Hall, the whole area is a bonanza for wildlife enthusiasts, foodies and wine buffs alike: Carla describes it as a 'hotbed of defiant utopianism'.

The restaurant is housed in a strikingly restored 500-year-old timbered barn festooned with flowers, attractive art and impressively lofty raftered ceilings.
