The Leatherne Bottel in the picturesque village of Goring is reached from the Wallingford Road via a single track 'road' leading down to the river, this is not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort. Refurbished to take account of the stringent safety regulations the work has been done in a subtle manner without detracting from the traditional charm of this 'two in one' restaurant.
In winter the roaring log fire, cosy arrangement of tables and enormous flower decorations cocoons one from the elements.
