The Leeds Kitchen by James Martin Review

The Leeds Kitchen is situated in the Alea Casino in Clarence Dock, a trendy waterfront area of Leeds, run by celebrity TV chef James Martin. The smart restaurant with dark wood tables and cream leather banquettes is accessed via the casino, so is only available to diners over eighteen. Designed by Carolyn Parker the restaurant has a warm and open design, with soft lighting and unique artwork, together with James' own collection of dinner ware.

The menu features the best of British cuisine with a twist, and typically you might choose coarse chicken and potato terrine with pickled summer vegetables, or fresh Whitby crab risotto with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaf amongst the starters.
