Named after the owner's mother, Lena in Great Eastern Street brings a touch of Italian family hospitality to Shoreditch. Sepia photos of mama herself line the walls of the stylishly appointed ground-floor dining room (there's more space in the cosy bar downstairs), and the cooking looks to her native Sicily for much of its inspiration.
Sunny southern specialities steal much of the limelight, although the menu also has its share of mainstream trattoria staples.
