Surrounded by three acres of delightfully tranquil gardens on the edge of Barwick village (a short drive south of Yeovil), Tim and Emma Ford's Georgian dower house functions perfectly as a country restaurant-with-rooms. The dining room has been given a fresh new look of late, with watercolours on the walls, hand-painted striped wallpaper and exposed floorboards.
